HI! Pleased to meet you. I am happy to introduce myself.  I am a 35 year old, not married but with boyfriend, no kids but soon on the way (I hope) lover of dogs, books, music, juicer for life. My first loves are my dogs. Danny Boy (Shepherd mix) nine yrs old) and Inez (Irish wolfhound mix 8 yrs old). Danny boy came into my life to help me heal from my previous dog’s passing. Max lived a long life and it was time.  But my heart needed to heal and Danny was the key. He has been in my life since he was 8 weeks old. Inez came to us as a foster and I failed foster 101.  She has been a challenge and we are still working on her behavior. Another passion of mine is working dog agility with Danny. We have been doing that for 6 years now and loving every minute of it. It’s a bonding experience with Danny and strengthens our bond.  

The next passion is juicing. I was introduced to juicing in October 2011. Thank you Jessie for introducing me to juicing. My life has done a 360 because of that experience.  I’ve bought a juicer and blenders and now I’m just using VitaMix. That is the best investment I’ve made in the last year. I’m trying to teach the members of the group to juice, but that is a process in itself. My favorite juice is the green juice’s I make. Especially if it has mint in them, the juices all taste very refreshing with mint.

I can’t forget why I am here. READING… My love for reading has brought me to this wonderful club and gathered with the lovely ladies. I started reading mystery books and moved to sci-fi fantasy and now I’m reading romance novels. I do circle back to sci-fi books every once in a while. The favorite read so far is Fifty shades of Grey Trilogy. But my favorite sci-fi fantasy books are the Anita Blake series.  I hope to broaden my reading spectrum through this club.

That is just a peek into my window of who I am. As our blog progresses I hope to be able to contribute with some work and give you a broader aspect of who Marcia is.
